    7. Confirmed round trip travel tickets UK-China-UK If you travel through Hong Kong then any connecting travel tickets (China-Hong Kong-China) must be provided

  7. Accommodation

    8. Confirmed hotel/hostel/Airbnb booking
    If you’re staying in private accommodation you have to provide a signed invitation letter and a copy of ID from the host

  8. Children (under 18)

    9. Birth certificate (Original and photocopy)
    Both parents’ passports (Originals and photocopies)
    If applicable, parents’ UK residence permit (Originals and photocopies)

All documents must show your name as in your passport
All documents must be in English or Chinese
If you wish to receive a visa that is valid for more than one entry you must provide additional travel tickets and accommodation bookings
If you hold more than one citizenship then all passports (Originals and photocopies) must be provided
Any valid China visas must be cancelled before you can submit a new visa application
If you work for media or religious organisation then you must provide a letter from your employer that states you will not carry out any media or religion related activities whilst in China
If you plan to travel to Tibet then you must provide (a Tibet declaration form)
Applicants of Chinese Origin must provide their last Chinese passport held (Original and photocopy)
